  1. Skiing at Stubaier Gletscher

Amazing skiing at Stubaier Gletscher! This glacier has plenty of runs for all levels. I would say the slopes are a little steeper and icier than back home in Canada, but still quite amazing! Don’t forget to indulge in Apres Ski. Get more info on lift tickets and ski conditions on their website: here.

2. Sledding Stubaital Tirol

I didn’t officially get to try this due to time constraints. I did however witness some people sledding down some pretty cool slopes, and it looked like a blast! For more info, check it OUT!

3. The Ice Grotto in the Tyrol

If you want some real adventure, and some amazing photographs, I’d suggest hitting up the Ice Grotto in the Tyrol. Unfortunately, I did not have time for this activity either, as we were in an 3-day avalanche training course at Stubaier Gletscher. For more information on this activity, click here.

4. Walk The Highline 179

This was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. On the road to Austria from Germany, we stopped at the Highline on the way to our Air Bnb. This place offers the longest pedestrian rope bridge in the world! The views are spectacular! Tickets to walk across the bridge are roughly 8 Euros. If you’re scared of heights, this place is probably not for you. Once you cross the bridge, you can explore some of the old castle ruins. Definitely a must!

5. Visit & Shop the Old town of Innsbruck

This rainbow town is the cutest spot for shopping, cafe’s, lunch, dinner, etc.! After a long day of skiing, hit up the old town square and checkout some street music, local vendors, and restaurants.
